Susquehanna
State Park

In Susquehanna
State Park, about three miles away, visit the Rock Run Grist Mill,
the Rock Run Mansion and the Stepping Stone Museum. Plan your
visit to the grist mill between1 - 4 to see the mill come alive. The meal is
bagged and given to the visitors on week-ends May to Labor Day. Enjoy the
fishing from the fishing piers. There is a boat ramp and hiking and biking
trails. Look for wildflowers and go bird watching looking for shorebirds and
eagles in the 2,646 acre state park. Discover the remains of the Susquehanna
and Tidewater canal system. The Stepping Stone Museum has a blacksmith shop,
cooper shop, canning house and herb garden. |
